Danny

Danny is a tiny sleeping baby, measuring 5 inches (12.7 cm) and weighing just 90 g. With his peaceful expression, softly closed eyes, curled fingers and delicate newborn features, Danny has an especially gentle presence. His skin has been hand-painted in translucent layers, creating subtle variations in tone, warmth and depth throughout his tiny features. His fine rooted hair completes his soft newborn appearance. Danny was sculpted, molded and poured by Shy Mrofka, and brought to life by me through hand-painting. Each stage of his creation comes together to turn this tiny sculpt into a unique collector piece.
